New Stationery

As you all know I have a massive love for stationery in all shapes and sizes, so I get very excited when I get new bits and bobs to add to my ever growing collection.

Stationary Blog

A few weekends ago we went to see my best friend, her husband and her little girl in Bristol. We don't get to see each other that often so it's amazing when we do, plus Jack and I love Bristol a lot.

As we don't get to see each other often, we generally have birthday's and Christmas' to catch up on.

We were very spoilt and extremely grateful. I have packed most of our stuff away as they gave us some gorgeous house bits, but until we move back out I don't really have anywhere for them.

So here is the stationery that I was given, which I obviously can utilise whilst here.

First up is a gorgeous Flamingo writing set which I love. Although It's almost too pretty to use, but I can't wait to use it soon. Until then it's making my desk look pretty!

Next time is this gorgeous flowery pen which I'm going to take to work as I can never find a pen when I need one.

I also got some cute pastel post its to use at work. One set is pastel clouds and the other is pastel rainbows, super cute.

Lastly, some awesome rubbers! There is a fricking dinosaur! I love them.

Thank you again to my gorgeous friend and her family for these fab pressies as well as all the others.

Much Love,

High Street Eye Liners | On A Budget

I've compiled a list of my favourite high street eyeliners at the minute for you all!

Gel Liner

I used to love using Gel liners and haven't used any in a while. I asked Jack to pick me some bits up last weekend as we were going out and he did very well in choosing this.

It's the Rimmel Gel Liner and is only £7.99 which is a bargain.

These Gel Liners last for ages and once you get the knack, are super easy to apply.

I love that they stay on for ages, so are great for a day out or for a night on the town!

It comes with a brush but I actually find it easier to use the Real Techniques Silicone Liner Brush, but each to their own.

No.7 Liquid Liner

This was a back of the drawer review find!

I have a drawer crammed with new products to review and had a look through the other day as I wanted a liquid liner and couldn't find any of my others.

It is a super easy nib to use and gives a nice line, great for a cat eye or winged eye look.

Costing just £8.50 its a great price.

Collection Extreme Pen Liquid Liner

This is one of my all time faves.

I purchased this a while back and this is my 2nd or 3rd re-purchase.

It is just £2.99 and is so easy to use. I love it. It is definitely a staple for any girls make up bag!

For under £3 you can't go wrong really. This would be great for anyone who is afraid of liquid liner to practise with too.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Pencil Liner

This is super cheap and is one of the best pencil liners I have used in a while.

It's really pigmented and doesn't drag on your eye, even if using it on the lid... as long as you remember to sharpen it obviously!

At only £3.99 it's great for anyone on a budget too.

What are you favourite high street eye liners?

Much Love,

Tk

Colgate Sensitive Toothbrush and Pen.

I'm fully aware that this is such a random thing to write about, but it is something we all have to use multiple times a day.

Back in November, Myself, Jack, My Mum, Grandma and Brother travelled up to Birmingham for BBC's the 'Good Food Show'.

Having never been before I was very excited. I had heard really good things from the rest of my family who have been going for years.

For those who have never heard of it, it is basically a massive convention style food and drink event.

There are an insane amount of stalls to see and sample various foods and drinks, that I think you need more than one day in there. Next year we will do this I think.

At the end of the show, we were given goodie bags which had a variety of products in from pasta to powdered mash potato!

One of the items was this Colgate toothbrush. I had completely forgotten about it until I realised last week that I needed to throw my toothbrush out as I had had it for too long (I think you are meant to change them every 3 months).

I then suddenly remembered that it was in my 'try me' drawers. I have been pleasantly surprised with it as I'm usually quite fussy with my toothbrushes, this has definitely made the cut.

It also comes with this cool pen which is for treating sensitive teeth as and when required and is stored within the toothbrush itself meaning you won't forget... hopefully not anyway!

If you struggle with sensitive teeth, I would advise you to look into getting one, they aren't expensive at all, coming in at around £3/£4 each

Let me know your thoughts if you have one already or if you end up getting one.

Much Love,

Pamper Evening

So... When I actually get the time to have a pamper evening I genuinely jump for joy.
There's nothing I like more than to chill out, relax and pamper myself.

Oh and have cuddles with my girls obviously! Even if they like rubbing their bottoms in my face... a sign of affection apparently.....

I usually start by running a bath, using one of my many products from Lush!

Or will jump in the shower if I'm tight on time and will use my mint and tea tree Original Source shower gel or Imperial Leather marshmallow one, as they both smell divine.

While my bath is running I will tidy up a bit so that I can be 100% relaxed. I tend to light my candles in my room and the bathroom too.

We have recently had a bit of a candle haul in Home Sense and are burning our sea salt and black toffee candle in our lounge and the scent carries around the whole house!

I will always try to take my make up first using my Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm.

I love this product soooo much! It really does work and does everything it claims to do. Plus my skin loves it and I can really tell the difference when I forget to use it. I am currently using a tiny little mini as I need to repurchase the full size and keep forgetting! (I frickin love mini's so it makes me rather happy using this anyway!)

I've been very lucky to be invited to a blogger event next week which includes a Q&A with Emma Hardie so I will ensure to vlog the evening.

If I'm having a bath, I'll grab my phone and start reading through blogs that I need to catch up on on Bloglovin' or if I've been good and have already done that I will get a book to have a read. This is probably the safer option too as on more than a few occasions I've been far too close to dropping my phone in the bath!

After I have had a lovely chill, (or when the bath starts getting cold...) I will then wash myself as well as taking off my face mask if I have used one.

Last week, I tried the Body Shop's Japanese Macha Tea Face Mask and really liked it. I intend to have another go tonight.

I had shaved my legs last week and used my Soap and Glory moisturiser on my legs and then used Lush's Sleep moisturised on my top half, I am in the middle of reviewing it at the moment as I have been really struggling with sleeping.

The below video followed me along on my very quick pamper evening last week.

Much Love,

Taking my Jo Malone virginity.

So until recently my town didnt have a Jo Malone shop and after reading so many blogs about the products and seeing it all over YouTube I obviously wanted to see what all the fuss was about and was not disappointed.

The assistants were lovely and so helpful.
Explaining the scents to me including the one I really wanted to try which was the Wood, Sage and Sea Salt.
I took my Grandma along with me and after using the same perfume for as long as I can remember even she's putting it on her Birthday List!

I love the scent as it's so nice and fresh and the assistant was lovely enough to give me a sample of the body butter in the fragrance to try out.

She's also invited me along to their 'Rock the Ages' product launch.
Sipping champagne, getting a hand and arm massage whilst being shown the new range sounds like heaven to me! Thank you very much!

Can't wait to look into this brand a bit more and make a few sneaky purchases!

It's my Birthday in a couple of weeks so fingers crossed!

What's your favourite scent from Jo Malone?

Much Love,

I Love New Things!

So after a very expensive month being December what with Christmas and New Years Eve I haven't been able to get everything I need this month so far... When I say need... I definitely mean want...

However! I have managed to pick up a few new products that I'm excited to start using!

Firstly, I genuinely did need a new liquid eyeliner... Mine had started to make my eyes sting which is never good!
I picked up this one from Soap and Glory. It's the Super Cat in Carbon Black and was a steal at £6!
I wore this when I went to my friends wedding reception at the weekend and I loved how easy it was to apply. It glides so smoothly over my eyelid and was super easy to do a cat eye.

Next up I picked up a couple of Lush products after being recommended them on Twitter by my local store.
Everyone knows how much I rate their Lip Scrubs having loved the Bubblegum flavoured one for a couple of years now.
So I picked up the new flavour, 'The Kiss' and it smells soooo good!
It's very sweet like the Bubblegum one but in a slightly different way, it's hard to describe!

I also picked up the 'Honey Trap' lip balm  as recommended by them following my blog about High Street Lip Balms. This again smells amazing!
Can't wait to start using it!

Lastly, I brought some MAC lipstick, because a girl has got to treat herself every now and again.

I actually brought these from a friend who had purchased the wrong colour and didn't use them, but had lost her receipt to return them. Perfect for me though!
It's from the Amplified line in the shade 'Impassioned' and is a gorgeous pinky red. I also picked up a lip liner to go with it which is in the shade 'Dynamo'.
I'm loving these together and intend to use this a lot over the coming months. Including my Birthday as it is Valentines Day and I think this is the perfect Valentines colour.

I also recently purchased a couple of quad palettes to transfer some of my potted MAC shadows into to make it easier to take round with me.

At the same time I brought a shadow to go straight in and went with 'Naked Lunch'.
It's a gorgeous neutrally champagney shade and I've been wearing it a lot! It's definitely become my go to shade for day time along with using it to highlight under my brow with a night time look.

Have you brought any new products recently? Any recommendations?

Much Love,
T, x
