What I've been loving recently.

Hi guys,

The last month or so I've been putting by some of my favourite products to share with you all. It's a bit of a mixture of products and brands, so... enjoy!

Makeup, blogger, brows, benefit, no.7, garnier, pop, lashes, micellar water, eyeshdow, primer,

First things first... They are all minis which makes my heart happy! I fricking love minis, as many people do, so they kind of end up being favourites with that reason alone.

This micellar water is hugely popular, Garnier have made an awesome product right here. The fact that it is so easily accessible in this mini version is amazing, especially for travel. I picked this one up for £1 in the poundshop which is even better.
I find this the best high street make up remover at the moment instead of using wipes that are not good for my skin.

For Primer, my Aunty got me this as a present and I'm loving it. It's the No.7 Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer. It is a creamy texture and smells lovely, it soaks into your skin really well too. I usually moisturise and then pop this on and let it all sink in before putting my make up on. Plus it's super affordable.

Next up is the POP palette which I received in a Birchbox a few months back I believe. I was skeptical as I am with most eye shadows, but I really liked the colour choice and so I gave it a go. Now, all three are surprisingly pigmented and easy to blend too. I would definitely recommend it and it's small enough that it is perfect for your handbag too.

These next two products are both Benefit products, and having been a previous Benebabe, I do like most of their stuff.
I was super impressed with this lash primer when I first got it and I still am, in fact I now need to purchase a new one as this has almost run out which makes me sad. I have the shortest eyelashes known to women! This gives my lashes a boost, a helping hand if you will, and helps me get the length and volume I want. I then put whichever mascara I'm currently using over the top and voila!

Lastly is Benefit's Gimme Brow which I received in a goodie bag of theirs at some point. I'm skeptical of brow products as we already know, so wasn't 100% sure about this to start with. However, I now use it alongside my current powder/brush combo and it really helps to set the powder without making it look caked on and to give that extra depth and dimension also. The tiny brush is perfect for the job!

What have you all been loving recently? I'd love to know and get some more recommendations.

New Lip products!

Hi Guys,

This post has been a long time coming! I've sat down after an extremely busy week and managed to get some blog time in.

Actilabs, Rose Gold, Pink, Glitter, Make-up, Beauty, Blogger

My lovely twitter friend Lianne sent me this product months ago after I fell In love with her stunning pictures and I have been super crap at getting this post up.

But! Can we all just appreciate how beautifully sparkly and gorgeous these are! I literally feel like a rock star.

I was originally quite sceptical as to how this would look, how it would feel and if it would be a pain to apply!
Having grown up in the 90's, I'm no beginner when it comes to glitter... however it's been a while!

With the kit, you get two glitter shades as well as the adhesive, which is a lot easier to apply than I though it would be. It's basically like putting on lipgloss, and then you just need to ensure you keep your lips slightly parted in order for it to have chance to get a bit tacky.
I chose the Rose-Gold and Hot Pink shades and I'm very pleased with my choice.

I'm a little bit in love with the look this gives and am rather upset that I can't rock this to work! (Although I'm holding out for the next fancy dress day so I have an excuse!)

A big thank you for Lianne for sending these too me - I love them! xxx

Also, I need to talk about how amazing this new Rimmel Matte Liquid Lipstick is. I was sent this and wasn't too sure about it, having not used many liquid lipsticks in the past. I have the shade 'Latte to go' and am so pleasantly surprised!

I first used this at work just to see what it looked like- I had a can of drink at the time and you would never have known looking at the mouthpiece that I was wearing lipstick at all!

I've now worn this quite a few times, as it is my go to lip product at the moment. It is super easy to apply and is a gorgeous colour.
It lasts forever too! I always assume its rubbed off and then get home at the end of the night and need to take it off myself.
Would definitely say this is a staple product for anyone's make up bag!

And obviously... If you love Glitter, please check out Glitter lips too. It is super fun to do and is so so sparkly. You can find Lianne here.

As Always,

Much Love,

New Make Up Brushes

So... You may have seen my first video (eeeeeek!), which is why you are here, or you may have just stumbled across this post due to your similar love to all things beauty, especially when it includes amazingly gorgeous new make up brushes.

Very few things give me as much pleasure in my tiny black heart as new make up brushes. The feel of them, the smell, the nice clean bristles...

My first set came from my lovely Grandma. I had asked for new brushes for Christmas as most of mine were dying a horrible foundation covered death. I have to admit, I didn't think she had got them for me having no presents that were box shape!

She then presented me with this bag. It has the most gorgeous peach shade tissue paper covering this box which was wrapped up in a personalised ribbon- Amazing in itself...

Then I opened the box and was greeted with a set or three of the original Real Technique's brushes... but the best bit... the larger brushes are engraved with my frickin name!

OMG/Shut UP! and all that malarkey...

As a girl with a rather unusual name, as you can imagine, I found it rather difficult finding anything with my name on as a kid. So whenever anyone gets me anything personalised I am so so grateful.
So to have been given personalised make up brushes was the ultimate personalised gift!

I really enjoy blogging and need to make more time for it, however, I wanted to show these off in video but have been too scared to film until now. So I have been waiting to use them since Christmas and it's been killing me.

The second set of brushes I received were from my friend Emma who I have mentioned before. She knows I'm a massive Harry Potter fan and so picked these beauts up for me for my Birthday.
They are rose gold wand brushes and are actually quite heavy! I've only had these a month or so, so it hasn't been as long for me to wait to use them.

Any other make up brush fiends out there, please send me info for any other amazingly stunning make up brushes that I can look at for a year or so?! Would be very grateful.

Much Love,

Tklou xx
