Hey guys!
A couple of months ago, at my second job, we had a charity raffle one evening and Jack managed to win us a Meal for two at Carluccio's.
Having moved in together in February, date nights are so important to us as I'm sure you all know. It gives us the time together outside of day to day life at home.
So we got all dressed up and headed out. Luckily Carluccio's is only in the town centre so not too hard to get to.
We thought we would pop and have a drink at the sister pub of where we won the voucher as it is down the road from the restaurant and we could do some people watching as it is also opposite the station. (One of my favourite past times.) It was so nice to relax and have some time together before heading to the restaurant.
Now, Although we had the voucher, we weren't 100% sure what it entitled us to and were very pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a three course meal and a bottle of wine!
We started off with Jack ordering a beer and I had a Bellini as I love them.
I forgot to take pictures of our starters, I had cheesy garlic bread which was on ciabatta bread and tasted amazing, so I saved some to go with my main, and Jack had calamari.
For Mains, I had Spinach and Ricotta ravioli in butter which is my all time favourite from there, although I hadn't been in years, and my goodness it was as incredible as I had remembered. Jack was brave and tried a seafood spaghetti dish, he's not the biggest fan of much seafood but is starting to try more as he knows I love it. Very proud!
Finally for desert, Jack had the cheese board which he loved, although I wasn't a fan of the garlic honey... and I had a salted caramel ice cream sundae and regretted it. I don't usually go for sundaes for desert so I'm not sure why I did, it was nice but I just couldn't eat it all!
We had such a nice night over all and the staff at Carluccio's were brilliant, especially our waitress.
Thank you again to them all.
Much Love,
T xx
