A few weekends ago, My Grandma, Mum and myself went down to The Bannatyne's Hotel & Spa in Hastings.

It was a delayed Birthday treat for my mum, her birthday being in October. Oops!
We chose this spa as we have been here a few times previously for my grandmas birthday a few years ago as well as my mum's hen do.
We arranged to stay over the night so we could use the spa for a couple of days and it meant we could go into Hastings town for a mooch around as we love it down there. Also an excuse to get away from the boys for a night but don't tell them!
So Friday morning my mum picked us both up and drove us all down there, we got into our room and got changed ready for the spa in the lovely dressing gowns provided. Our treatments weren't actually until the afternoon, so we spent most of our time in the hot tubs outside... yes... outside! We were blessed with a rather lovely day for March stopping for a couple of food breaks along the way.
Then our treatments. Now as mum was birthday girl she had quite a few so we didn't see her for a few hours as they were back to back.
I went for a full body bamboo massage and an age defying facial. The therapist I had, Nicki, was super lovely. She explained everything thoroughly with me having never had a bamboo massage before. I'm going to say... definitely not for the faint hearted. It's a very deep massage, so if you don't like pressure, this isn't going to be your cup of tea at all.
I was so relaxed that I was basically asleep for the whole of my facial but it was super lush! I felt amazing when I woke up.
We then went to our room to get changed as by the time we'd finished our treatments it was 7pm.
We had already decided in the day we would eat in the bar as when I had seen the restaurant menu I thought it was a bit pretentious for the likes of me... I'm rather fussy!
We went for what we call picky bits which is our fave. Just a few of everything and shared it all with a couple of glasses of wine. Perfect!
Next morning we had breakfast in our dressing gowns... definitely the only room to do so... but who cares! We were on holiday.
Then we had lovely showers using the Elemis products in our bathroom and after checking out spent the afternoon shopping in Hastings.
All in all we had a lovely weekend, we rarely get the time to spend together just us three so it was invaluable.
Also a big shout out to Bannatynes for being super accommodating. We had to move the dates around due to me being unwell and they were more than helpful.
If you are looking for a spa treat, Bannatynes is one of my faves and I think it's rather reasonable. Check it out here.
Much Love,
Tk xx
