Day out with My Grandma.

Firstly, I just want to say that my last post that involves my Grandma, we went to lunch and went to Frankie and Benny's then too. I promise we do go to other places!

We started the day by having to conduct a business meeting rather early and so I definitely needed a nice hot drink. Cue Mocha shot!

This was from a lovely little café where I live that I have never been to. Very impressed with their Mochas though!

After a long and mentally exhausting meeting, that's when we decided to go for lunch. We ended up driving round for so long that we just fell upon Frankie & Bennys, but I do love their lunch deals and the food is yummy!

I love the décor in the restaurant as I love black and white photos and they hate a rather sweet Christmas table as you come into the restaurant.

We both decided on the BBQ Chicken Pizza because it is the best pizza they do in our opinion, we were also piggys and ordered a side order of fries with cheese and bacon... just... omg... words cant even describe... you need these in your life!

Neither of us could eat all of our pizza so we had to ask for a doggy bag. Does anyone else get nervous about asking for one? I know I'm paying for the food, and therefore if I don't finish it, I have the choice to take it if I wish. But I still get nervous any time I have to ask, which is often as my eyes are bigger than my belly the majority of the time!

It was lovely to spend some quality time with my Grandma as although we work together, we don't really see each other, except from when one of us is leaving work and the other is coming to work.

Note to self: Must do this more often!

I have already decided that one of my New Years Resolutions is going to be to see my Family more often.
I don't live at home anymore so I don't see my mum that often and want to ensure I see more of her in the new year.
Also, my other Gran lives up in Wigan, so I need to make the effort to drive up and see her more than I have this year!
I think this is probably the only New Years Resolution I really plan to stick to!

In the Afternoon, I went down to the high street as I had been given a free treatment for my eyebrows as part of a Facebook campaign this particular shop was running.
I knew the shop existed, but had never thought of going in. The girls were lovely, and really welcoming.
I was asked to take a seat while the lady I was seeing finished up with another lady.
While I was waiting, I had a look around and noticed that the ladies getting their nails done were obviously regulars, which always makes me feel better about salons. If someone is willingly going back they are obviously good.
The lady called me over and I was sat down and my head was rested back. I wasn't 100% sure what I had signed up to to be honest. (I'm naughty like that, and hadn't read through the information properly!)
The lady first tinted my eyebrows, after asking me what shade, and me asking her to decide as I had no clue!
Then she proceeded to thread them... ouch! I've had my eyebrows threaded before in Turkey when I've been on holiday and it didn't hurt as much... as far as I remember. But I have to say I loves the results and even booked in to go back in a couple of weeks to keep on top of them as eyebrows can be extremely unruly as you know!

If you are local to the area I would definitely recommend them... for their eyebrow skills at least!
I am going to be going in and seeing what other treatments they do... very tempted to have Shellac done as I love Acrylic Nails but they really wreck your nails.  I am currently trying to re-strengthen and grow mine after taking them off myself a month or so ago.
Will let you know how I get on!

Here is a (kind of) Before and After Pic of my brows...

Much Love,

T, x
