10 Things About Me

Although I have been doing my blog for a while now on and off, I realised that you don't really know much about me.

                                   

So here are 10 things about me:

1 - I was born on Valentines Day... just! After making my parents wait the full 2 weeks after my due date I decided to show my face at 00.12. I love having my Birthday on Valentines Day, at least when I'm single I'm still guaranteed to get presents!

2 - I no longer possess my Appendix or my Tonsils after having them out when I was 17 and 18 respectively.

3 - When I was 2 years old, I fell over and cut my lip. On returning from the hospital I did it again! Clearly I didn't learn, or just wanted to go back?! My dad said they offered me plastic surgery later in life on the NHS as it was a big cut and they weren't sure how it would look when I grew up.
You can't even really see it now, but I like it, as I see it as a distinguishing feature!

4 - My left knee dislocates regularly, always fun! Doctors have told me it is called Joint Hypermobility. Not sure that helps... but I have mastered how to get it back in myself now.

5 - I have a really big family! On my Dads side, in my generation alone, there are 38 of us. Best get saving for my wedding now Dad!

6 - Up until about a year ago, I hated coffee and tea. Maybe taste buds change as you get older? But my new found love has to be Mocha's. Cant get enough. Its a mixture of two of my favourite things, coffee and chocolate, what could be better?!

7 - My lucky number is seven, and feel this is self explanatory...

8 - I worked for Benefit when I was 19 for 6 months and loved it. Only leaving because of my Joint Hypermobility (see no.4) and after my knee dislocating once, was on crutches for 3 months and unable to get to work.

9 - I love Musical Theatre. I studied it at college and went onto University to do the same. Unfortunately, the course I applied for wasn't what had been advertised and so I left.
I still love to sing and annoy my flat mate something chronic by doing so the majority of the time!

10 - My most sought for item in my hand bag is my Carmex Lipbalm. Only the original or the Cherry... I'm not a fan of the Mint one. I can't go anywhere without it! But always end up losing it somewhere! So I now have a tube in my car, my leather jacket and my handbag. I also always keep a new one in my dressing table just in case I run out!

I hope this has shed a bit more light on me and has given you an insight into my life.
