Holiday times!

So I recently went on Holiday to Turkey as my Grandma has an apartment there.
We've been going for 9 years now so we have a lot of friends there so I'm always excited about going there!

I spent most of the time relaxing and didn't take many photos which is strange for me!

But below are a few snaps I took. Including my fave dessert (chocolate soufflé... Best ever!), the new marina, our pool and one of my favourite sunsets at a harbour in a little town near our apartment.

Enjoy!

Much love, T x

What's been going on and things I'm loving at the minute.

Hi There,

So I have been a bit MIA on my blog and am sad about that!
I have had a lot of work things going on including silly shifts and hours!
All good now though as I have now changed jobs and are working much more sensible hours, so hopefully I won't feel like a vampire anymore!

There are a few things I have been loving recently and I wanted to share them with you :)

My new red heels are amazing and glittery and just... So pretty!!! I know they look scarily high but because the platform is so big they are deceivingly comfy and easy to walk in!

Mochas... Just... Mmmmmm... I am in love and I just can't help it! They are sooo good :)

I recently went on holiday to Turkey recently and after going there for 9 years, I decided it was time to try their traditional Apple Tea... Soooo good!
Am a little upset I hadn't tried it before!
It's really refreshing and comes warm. :)

Oh me geeee! This is a Snoopy bobble hat from good old Primarni and was a bargain at £5. I do love my winter hats!

What are you loving at the moment?

Much Love,

T x

I went Shopping!

Ooops! I went shopping and had to pick up a few make up bits as I don't have as many neutral eye-shadows as I used to after losing my Naked Palette! (It was a sad day... I'm slowly recovering...)

I popped into Superdrug and had a look at some of the more affordable palettes as I'm scared of losing my make up again to be honest... and as you can see brought a couple of other goodies too!

I had a look at MUA after purchasing their 'Pretty Edge Luxe' palette (below) a few months back, which was a steal at only £8. (It was definitely the studs on the case that drew me to it!)
Unfortunately, I couldn't see any that I liked.

I then noticed the Revolution stand which I think is a new addition to my Superdrug store. They had a lot of choice for eye palettes and I was stuck which to choose!
I finally decided on this one which is the Redemption Palette Iconic 2:

I chose this one as instead of the usual square and circular shape of colour in most palettes, these are more rectangular and it looks like there is more product.
There probably isn't at all, but I like to think so!  This baby was a mere £6 which to me is a bargain for 12 shades.

As you can see from the swatch above, some are definitely more pigmented than others, but are all really easy colours to wear. I think a few of these will certainly become firm favourites, but will let you know how I get on with them as it seems the metallic ones need a few coats to build it up, and the light colour on the far left was quite chalky and had a bit of fall out.

Secondly, I picked up this little gem, also from the Revolution stand. The thing that made it stand out to me was the fact it is Rose Gold, and looked interesting as I was unsure as to why there was a little bottle of liquid inside the box. It's from their Awesome Metals Foil Finish collection.

So apparently what you are meant to do is... put some of the liquid primer with the rose gold shadow into the tray they provide you with, mix it up and then use.
And this is the result...
I LOVE THIS!!! What makes it better is that it was only £5. Bargain!

This was with only one layer, but it says you can build it up. Darn lights don't show the colour very well. But I intend to wear this lots as its sooo pretty, so will do a FOTD with it soon.

The last make up item I brought was the Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzer. I only have a crumpled mess left of my Bobbi Brown bronzer, and decided I really should get a new one but wanted a change.

I used to use this one all the time back in the day, and the fact it smells of chocolate (albeit faintly...) makes me happy. I also like that the shimmer is very minimal as I can use it to contour too.

I also brought some new dry shampoo and hairspray from the Urban Fudge range as they are on special offer in Superdrug at the moment and I needed new ones anyway. I am going to do a review on these so I wont tell you about these here!
As you can also see (sneaky sneaky!) I also went a bit crazy in Lush... There will be a Post dedicated to these goodies in a few days. :)

Have you brought any new items recently that you love?

Much Love,

T, x

Lush Loving 💜

Hi guys, so I said I was going to do a Lush review of a few products I've recently purchased. I got a gift card for my Birthday this year and wanted to try a few new things with it so this is what I got.

Facemasks:

I picked up two of the fresh facemasks, Cupcake and Catastrophic as I like what they said they could do to help my skin, plus they smelt really good.
After using them both, (hideous pictures below to amuse you!)

I have to say that I definately prefer the Cupcake one. I just feel that I could see the benefits more with it, plus it didnt make my skin feel dry.
This is definately a re-purchase!
However, my mum preferred Catasrophe so used it up for me!

Lips:

I went to Australia in January for my friends wedding and was going to miss her hen do so I thought I would buy her a few Lush products to soften the blow as I was Maid of Honour... I popped in quickly as I had 5 minutes before leaving for the airport.
I've always loved Lush lip balms as they smell amazing but had never tried the lip scrubs. I had a very helpful sales lady and she showed me the bubblegum flavour and the popcorn flavour. I decided on the pretty pink bubblegum one as thought my friend would prefer this.
For anyone who hasnt tried the scrubs, you basically rub it on and then lick it off!
I was in Oz for 3 weeks, and between us, we nearly used it up! Fair to say I brought one for myself as soon as I could! I am still loving it now, although am using it less regularly than I did in Oz otherwise I would be constantly be buying it. I think it really does the job as well as tasting amazing and it is definatley one to try!

Bath Stuff:

I have been buying a lot of bath bombs and bubble bars recently but the product that have really stuck in my mind has been the Comforter.
I really enjoyed using this as it wasnt just one use, I just kept breaking bits off to use as and when, and I loved this because I hate using things up straight away with just one bath especially if I like them!

What are your favourite Lush products at the moment?

Much Love

T xx
