What I've been up to.

So there's been some media silence from me, mainly on here as I've had a very busy few months and haven't had much head space for blogging which is really sad as I enjoy it so much. But now I'm back!

I've helped plan a hen do and a baby shower, which take up a lot of time. The outcomes of both were great fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy them.

We went on holiday to Turkey with my Grandma, which was out first holiday abroad together and was amazing. I've been going to Turkey with my Grandma for nearly 13 years now and love it out there so it was really important to me that Jack enjoyed it too, luckily he did! phew!

We've also been to two of our friends wedding which were amazing days. We got to see a lot of our friends who we hadn't managed to in a long time and was great to catch up.

We've had many nights in, and a few nights out. I've had a lot of bad days, but also good days. I'm getting there.

I've been having a lot of cuddles with my two girls, which are complete time wasters, but completely gorgeous.

Plus we've moved house!  Check out my moving vlog.

This week is going to be a week of blog posts, one every night. I'm very excited, and can't wait for you guys to have a read.

I'm also going to be filming some videos this week, including a review of the new Body shop face masks and Jack doing my make up which I think is going to be hilarious!

Much Love,

T xx

Hair cut

I don't know about you, but having my hair cut is a relatively big deal, anything more than a trim anyway!

I have been dying my hair for as long as I can remember and I get bored with the colour very easily as you can see below. The cut however... I'm definitely more of a 'keep the length I just need a trim' kinda girl.

I took the plunge yesterday and had my hair cut properly to get rid of all the horrible, straggly, damaged ends and... I love it!

I definitely didn't expect to, and I still want my hair long, but it looks so much healthier than it has in a long, long time..

One of my best friends is getting married next weekend and I'm a bridesmaid so wanted to make sure that my hair was as decent as it could be for the photos.

Mission accomplished!

Does anyone else have the dread of getting more than a trim? Or just me?!

Much Love,

Tklou

Booband Miracles!

Now... As a larger breasted lady, I need all the help I can get when it comes to keeping them in the right place. Whether that's day to day or at the gym!

My friend had seen an advert on Instagram for this and mentioned it to me, knowing I had started Personal Training sessions.

I was rather sceptical to start with as for all intents and purposes its an elasticated band with a bit of Velcro on it... how was that going to keep my bad boys at bay?!

After a month or so with my PT and doing more cardio than I have in my life, I realised that my combo of a bra and a sports crop top/bra was NOT working for me.
I've had at least two bras give up on me completely and attack my armpits with their underwire... genuinely one of the most painful things in the world, especially when you continue to do star jumps after this!

So I finally caved, and spent the £20 on the fore mentioned Velcro elasticated doo dah...

The Booband team were lovely and also sent me through a popband hair tie which is awesome. No metal and thick elastic which is great for thick hair.

They also have various deals and bundles for different coloured bands, but I didn't want to spend loads to find it didn't work for me.
I decided to go for the Large size, as like I said, I have some beasty bad boys, but have since been measured and have gone down 3/4 cup sizes... so I think I actually need a medium now!

I personally feel like this works better for me over my clothes, but that may be because of the size correction I need to make. I tried it originally over my sports top and under my baggy (hide everything because I don't want to scare anybody) t-shirt. This worked but not as well as I'd expected, so I took it off as it was annoying me. Then it came to shuttle runs, and I knew I needed to try and see if it would work... it did! WOOHOO! I shoved it on over my t-shirt and it was a dream! Don't get me wrong- I'm still running, so clearly there will be some movement... but I'm so impressed with it. It means I'm not as self conscious running and now can focus on my PT rather than concerned I'm going to knock someone out with my boobs.

Massive thank you to Booband for this simple yet effective invention of yours! I will be purchasing some more soon!

Much love,

T xx
