What I've been up to.

So there's been some media silence from me, mainly on here as I've had a very busy few months and haven't had much head space for blogging which is really sad as I enjoy it so much. But now I'm back!

I've helped plan a hen do and a baby shower, which take up a lot of time. The outcomes of both were great fun and everyone seemed to really enjoy them.

We went on holiday to Turkey with my Grandma, which was out first holiday abroad together and was amazing. I've been going to Turkey with my Grandma for nearly 13 years now and love it out there so it was really important to me that Jack enjoyed it too, luckily he did! phew!

We've also been to two of our friends wedding which were amazing days. We got to see a lot of our friends who we hadn't managed to in a long time and was great to catch up.

We've had many nights in, and a few nights out. I've had a lot of bad days, but also good days. I'm getting there.

I've been having a lot of cuddles with my two girls, which are complete time wasters, but completely gorgeous.

Plus we've moved house!  Check out my moving vlog.

This week is going to be a week of blog posts, one every night. I'm very excited, and can't wait for you guys to have a read.

I'm also going to be filming some videos this week, including a review of the new Body shop face masks and Jack doing my make up which I think is going to be hilarious!

Much Love,

T xx

Virgin Vie Sleeping Beauty Pillow Mist

I'm going to level with you and tell you that I have had this bottle for the best part of about 4 years... If not longer...

My mum used to work for virgin vie as a party planner and I think I managed to sneak this away once she'd left.

It reminds me of her as I remember she used to use it a lot at the time.

I never really got into it, then a couple of weeks ago I found it again and decided to give it another try as I haven't been sleeping well.

Now whether it's a placebo effect and because I've used it, physcologically I know that and therefore sleep better or if it actually works I couldn't tell you!

All I know is that when I use it, I genuinely  do sleep a lot better. I don't wake up in the night at all and feel a lot more refreshed in the morning.

It smells lovely, very calming. It hasn't as far as I'm aware made my hair smell of it at all and my pillows are not marked! Winning!

The upsetting thing about all of this is, I don't have a massive amount left and after having a look online, it seems Virgin Vie have discontinued the product.
This makes me sad, as I do love it.
If anyone has any other recommendations of something similar i'd love to hear from you!
If not, I think I'm going to have to search it out on eBay!

Much love,

T x

Winter Blues

Ok, So I love winter... Cosy nights in, hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, watching DVD's under a blanket, nice hot baths with Lush bombs, and all the rest.

What I dislike a lot, is the colds and fluey bugs that make their way around at this time of year. I very much dislike coughing all through the night and not getting much sleep.

This upsets me as I love my bed a lot! So sleeping in it makes me very happy, and when I can't I do not like this.

Last night, I had coughed and spluttered my way through the majority of the evening and woke up at 00.30 feeling poo.

It's then that I remembered we had been given some Twinings tea. I hadn't tried it yet as I'm very funny with flavoured teas. But, this one was yummy! It soothed my throat and tasted like Christmas!

I then remembered that I hadn't actually opened my Chocolate advent calender at all, which made me very happy!

Yum!
These little things helped me relax and I managed to sleep relatively well the rest of the night. I am also going to get some Vix, as apparently if you put that on your feet with socks on, it helps to get rid of coughs. I will let you know how I get on!

Much Love,

T, x
