Miracle Tablets | Lifestyle

I have been dying my hair for about 18years now and will be the first to say that I don't take great care of my hair in between. I can go months without haircuts, get easily bored with the colour and have used more home dyes that I can count. With my wedding being next year, I realised I needed to buck my ideas up.

I have stopped using heat on my hair unless necessary (sometimes you need to dry your hair if you're like me and your washing days don't align with plans you have made!)

I am still on the look out for a decent hair mask as so far the ones I've tried haven't done much...

My hair is in the best condition it's been in ages... bearing in mind it's bleached... and I think it is all down to these tablets!

Now, I've always been a massive skeptic when it comes to things like this, but after hearing about them from a friend after they had done wonders for her hair, I thought I'd give them a go. After all, what did I have to lose?

I ordered mine from Amazon but I'm sure you can pick them up in other places too and the ones I chose are the Solgar North Atlantic Kelp Tablets.

Apologies for the stock photo, but where I am now getting to the end of my pot, the label has peeled so much that you wouldn't be able to tell what they are!

You get 250 tablets in a pot and take one a day. I'm not brilliant at remembering I won't lie... so I try and take them in the morning with my other pills.

Since taking these; my hair is healthier, longer and looks in such better condition.

The below picture was about 2 months before I started taking them.

This next picture is my hair now - I have also started bleaching my hair again as you can see, but my hair is no where near as elasticated as it has been in the past when bleaching and I can only think it is down to these miracle tablets!

I love them and tell everyone I can to get them because I truly believe they are a miracle. Have I said miracle enough times?

Now that the countdown is on for my wedding, I want my hair in the best condition possible.

Do you have any wonders like these? I may be a true convert...

Much Love as Always,

We're Engaged!

sunset, maveshir, heart, hands, ring, harbour

So if you read my last blog, you know that I've had a lot going on recently but I haven't told you about the fact that in September last year, Jack proposed!

We are coming up to a year of being engaged which seems crazy but also, so much has happened in that time.

The Story:

So it goes like this... we were in Turkey on a family holiday with my mum and step dad staying at my grandma's apartment in Didim, Altinkum which is about an hour and a half from Bodrum airport.

A couple of days in we decided to have date nights separately and then meet back up afterwards for drinks.

Myself and Jack chose our favourite restaurant, Key-f at Didim marina.

didim, restaurant, marina, view, food, foodieThe food there is amazing and I had Sea bass whilst Jack had steak, but he was acting so moody. This annoyed me as we hadn't had a date night in months! (Little did I know he was nervous - bless him!)

After we finished our meals, I ordered my favourite desert and some more drinks whilst Jack went to the toilet.

When he got back, he started talking about our wedding - which was not unusual as we spoke about it often - then the next thing I knew he was next to on one knee with a ring box.

Of course I said YES! and the restaurant cheered while the waiters brought over champagne along with my chocolate soufflé that I couldn't eat because I was still in shock!

To start with I thought, my goodness it is huge but as soon as I put it on I knew it was perfect for me.

Everyone has said how fitting it is for me and I completely agree!

He had it made by my favourite jeweller in Didim, Ozcan which meant so much to me. I did need to have it resized as it was slightly too big.

I love it and can't believe how well he did. Spot on in fact - especially when he had zero help from me!

It is rose gold, with an Amethyst stone in the centre. Purple is my favourite colour but amethyst is also both of our birth stones.

The stone is surrounded. by bling which also then goes down the sides in three rows.

It is not a dainty ring by any means, but neither am I.

I wear quite chunky jewellery as you can see from the other rings in the picture.

There are loads of pictures on my instagram if you want to see more/better pics.

And Then:

If that wasn't enough, we then went to meet my parents and obviously they already knew! I wanted to ring Jack's mum but couldn't hear her and my mum told me to turn around - there were Jack's parents!

How they all kept it all a secret I have NO clue. Especially as we live with Jack's parents and I work with my mum and step dad, so I was super impressed and still am.

It was so nice to be able to celebrate with them all being there.

We also spent a little while FaceTiming some of our friends - mainly mine as his already knew!

Now:

Nearly a year on and wedding planning is definitely underway with the church, venue, photographer and videographer booked.

Wedding party have all been chosen and I have allllll the spreadsheets for each section of the planning. What we have booked and what is yet to be booked or organised.

I'm loving wedding planning and have found a new love - Pinterest - I have found sooo many things I love and want to try for the wedding, our future house and everything in between.

Keep your eyes peeled for more wedding content!

Much Love as Always,
